If every chapter gave $500 - $1,000 each year, the CMSA Foundation would be able to add many more programs that advance the case management practice and contribute to process improvements for patients.

How do you become a chapter champion? Here are some examples of how chapters have participated in annual fundraising:

  • Donate through their annual budgeting while others host fundraisers.

  • Make donations in memory and in honor of board members, presenters, and members.

  • Host fundraising campaigns at events and donate the proceeds.

  • Donate speaker honorariums when speakers cannot accept them.

Introducing the CMSA Foundation Chapter Impact Award

The CMSA Foundation is proud to introduce the Chapter Impact Award, created to honor a CMSA Chapter that has demonstrated exceptional commitment to advancing the mission of the Foundation.

This annual award recognizes chapters that go above and beyond through fundraising, promotion, creativity, and member engagement, helping strengthen the Foundation’s ability to support case managers and their vital work.

There is no formal application process. Instead, this award celebrates the meaningful ways chapters show up for the Foundation throughout the year. If your chapter is supporting the CMSA Foundation—by raising funds, spreading awareness, engaging members, or finding creative ways to champion the mission—we want to hear about it.

The Chapter Impact Award from the CMSA Foundation will be presented annually at the CMSA Annual Conference, starting in June 2026 in Las Vegas, NV., highlighting outstanding chapter leadership and inspiring others to amplify their impact.
